We invite you to join us for a day of exploring California at the 29th annual Envisioning California Conference and Speaker Series, Arts and the Public Good.
The day will include:
Engaging in-depth panel discussions exploring the arts, with a focus on California’s creative economy and the public good
A buffet lunch and Keynote Panel discussion by Roberto D. Pomo, College of Arts & Letters, Sacramento State; Kristin Sakoda, Executive Director, LA County Arts Commission; Dr. L. Steven Winlock, Executive Director, Sacramento County Office of Education, Leadership Institute; and moderated by Dennis Mangers, Strategic Advisor for Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy to Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg
Art on display, and Art Organization tables
Panel topics will include:
- Arts Education in California’s K-12 Schools
- Creative Arts Programs in the California Justice System
- Our Collective Well-Being: Arts and Social Policy in California
- Harnessing Inspiration: Higher Education and the Creative Economy
