Why: Kick off summer vacation and bring the family to CAL FIRE’s exciting summer reveal event at the steps of the State Capitol. Open to children of all ages, and adults too, this exciting summertime event will feature CAL FIRE educational booths, fire trucks and other emergency vehicles, and food stands.
CAL FIRE is excited to introduce the latest and greatest member of our team who encourages “Safety Starts with You.” In addition to teaching about wildfires, Cal empowers children and their parents with safety tips about water recreation safety and the safe handling of fireworks—popular summertime activities in the Sacramento region.
We are excited to reveal our newest member who represents the bravery and honor of California’s heroes—its firefighters!
