Blue Star Museums at California Museum provides free admission to all active-duty military personnel and up to 5 family members May 18 through Sept. 1, 2019 in appreciation of their service.
A savings of up to $54 on the cost of admission, the program includes general admission to view all current exhibits, including:
• Dolores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields / Revolución en los Campos exploring the life and legacy of the iconic Latina civil rights activist organized by the Smithsonian Institution (Through 7/7/19)
• Making the Grade: California & the Transcontinental Railroad celebrating the 150th anniversary of the overland route’s 1869 completion (Through 9/1/19)
• Murales Rebeldes! L.A. Chicana/o Murals under Siege chronicling lost Southern California murals from the 1960s-1990s Chicanx movement (7/25-12/29/19)
• And many more showcasing the state’s history, arts and culture of diversity!
Plus, FREE on-street parking on Sundays, and kids 5 and under are ALWAYS FREE!
