Featuring walking and running tours during the 2019 Wide Open Walls festival!

August 14-31, various days

Join us for a tour featuring new murals of the 2019 Wide Open Walls festival. Guests will see many of the latest murals and may have a chance to watch artists in action. We will also see murals from previous years of Wide Open Walls, the Sacramento Mural Festival and more. This year’s tour features more than 42 pieces of street art! Guests will learn about the artwork, artist inspiration, as well as the history of street art in Sacramento and the evolution of street art around the world.

Distance and duration:
(all times are approximate)

  • Walking Tour: approximately 5k (3.3 miles); 2 hours

  • Running Tour: approximately 5k (3.3 miles); 1 to 1.5 hours

Difficulty: Easy, with minimal elevation gain/loss. Caution required for sections of this route that are along busy city streets and alleys. Walking and running tour routes are wheelchair and stroller accessible, although some gravel alleys may required extra caution.

Meeting location: Midtown/Downtown Sacramento. Once your registration is confirmed you will receive an email with the meeting location and additional information about the tour.
