Sacramento’s premier folk dance Company Ballet Folklórico de Sacramento comes to Stage 1 at Harris Center Three Stages, in Folsom, CA. Each year this local treasure captivates and delights us with their dynamic dance performances. With all the high-energy choreographies one has come to expect of Ballet Folklórico de Sacramento, along with live musical sounds of award-winning singer Beatriz Figueroa, this Christmas-themed dance production promises to bring to life for us on stage the richness and beauty of Mexico’s folk culture. Posada Navideña, a frolic-filled yuletide dance production filled with a traditional Christmas processional (posada), Mexican holiday music (villancicos), a visit from the Three Wise Men, a festive piñata scene, plenty of Ballet Folklórico de Sacramento’s original dance pieces, and the mesmerizing voice of the talented Ms. Figueroa. Posada Navideña will whisk you and your entire family away to a traditional Christmas in Mexico.

¡Cada año este maravilloso tesoro local nos trae alegría con sus espectáculos de danza que expresan la belleza cultural mexicana por medio del folklor y su música!
Esta temporada navideña, la compañía primaria Ballet Folklórico de Sacramento los invitan a usted y a toda su familia a reunirse con ellos para celebrar esta navidad cuando ellos presentan “Posada Navideña”. Esta producción de baile en vivo nos llevar en un viaje lleno de canciones y baile a través de las diversas regiones de México.
También pueden contar con cantante galardonado Beatriz Figueroa que nos acompañara esa noche cantando una selección de sus canciones favoritas.
Incluso sentirán la experiencia de una procesión navideña tradicional (Posada), música mexicana navideña (villancicos), una visita de los reyes magos, una escena festiva de piñata y coreografías legendarias de este ballet folklórico, que seguramente nos llenará de ese espíritu navideño en esta época más maravillosa del año.
Asi es que olvídense del polo norte este ano y vengan a disfrutar de “Posada Navideña” y la voz encantadora de la señorita Figueroa. Allí no vemos amigos!
