Description
UNIQUE Programs at Sacramento State is pleased to announce a special movie screening of Knives Out on Thursday, January 23rd. This FREE event takes place at 7:30pm in the University Union Ballroom.
Knives Out is about a well known crime novel writer named Harlan Thrombey who dies after his 85th birthday. A detective named Benoit Blanc is sent out to investigate his death. Harlan has a dysfunctional family, but Blanc has a driven and determined group of workers by his side. Blanc has to figure his way through a web of lies to uncover what truly happened to Harlan Thrombey.
Knives Out is a 2019 Drama/ Thriller movie. It is 2 hours and 10 minutes long. This film has already gained $128.3 million in box office views. Rated, 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, this film is not an event to miss. This film has been nominated on more than 150 Top Ten lists and is #3 on the Critics Choice Awards. Some of its many awards and nominations include Best Original Screenplay Rian Johnson, Best Acting Ensemble, and Best Comedy.
