In this course, students will engage with nature, innovate using recycled materials (as well as learn to use traditional mediums), reflect on our interactions with others, and explore ways we can make this a kinder and more creative world! Some projects in this class will include: Making finger puppets and creating mini-plays, learning about trees and making necklaces using a round of wood, exploring colors while creating a color wheel, working in 3-D and learning how simple shapes make up more complicated objects, and making art based on a fun book!

We will be using a combination of two platforms, Zoom and Edmodo. We will send you all information about setting up accounts on those two as soon as possible. Zoom will facilitate online face-to-face interactions through an iPad or computer and will serve as a tool for instruction, demonstrations, and other engagement. Edmodo will be a platform to share tutorials, videos, alternative activities etc. so parents and kids can access them anytime.
