We in California are no stranger to the danger of forest fires. Imagine your job is to go with the firefighters and photograph the event. Kari Greer, a Sacramento State Alum, works with the National Interagency Fire Center based in Boise, Idaho. While attending college Greer spent the summer working on fire teams and became a firefighter.

We will find out more about how Greer got into this profession and how this exhibit came about in a Zoom Conversation with the photographer on March 16^th at 6 pm. The Exhibit will also have photos from the Murals done in Paradise California, after the devastating “Camp Fire” by Shane Grammer. Grammer will talk about how going to Paradise and painting those murals changed his life.

Help Fire and Burn victims – Fill the Boot for Burns Fundraiser! We will have two Saturday Drive thru Days on March 6^th and March 13^th at the MACC. We will be taking donations in the Gallery throughout the Exhibit from March 4-20. Come by and see the exhibit, have lunch with ZintZuni Cocina Mexicana on March 6^th in the parking lot, and support the Firefighter Burn Institute.
