Looking for the perfect summer evening activity? Plan an evening visit to Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park!
For the first time, our partners at California State Parks are offering extended summer hours! Normally the historic wooden gates at Sutter’s Fort are closed at 5PM, however on Fridays and Saturdays in July and August operating hours will be extended to 8PM.
During your visit to Sutter’s Fort on a summer evening you will find more shade and beautiful Sacramento sunsets. If the Delta breeze kicks in, it really does makes the perfect setting for a summertime self-guided tour.
Normal entry fees apply during the extended hours. Please contact Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park at 916-445-4422 for more information.
