What’s it about?
White Christmas the musical is a stage adaptation of the classic 1954 film of the same name starring Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. The musical tells the story of two former World War II Army buddies, Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, who become a successful song-and-dance duo after the war. They follow a pair of singing sisters, Betty and Judy Haynes, to a Vermont inn owned by their former commanding general, who is in financial trouble.
What’s to love about White Christmas?
The musical features the hit songs from the original film, such as “White Christmas,” “Blue Skies,” and “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep.” Like the film, the musical is a heartwarming romantic comedy that celebrates the Christmas season and brings people together. The stage adaptation premiered on Broadway in 2008 and has since been produced at theaters around the world, delighting audiences with its classic holiday spirit and memorable musical numbers.
