Annual one-day gardening event showcasing some of our favorite specialty nurseries and garden artisans from the greater Sacramento region. Sponsored by the Sacramento Perennial Plant Club.
Educational component “Whats Blooming” display of flowers that are in bloom locally and how to care for them. Presentations by local horticultural experts. Noon Featured Speaker is Marlene Simon horticulturalist at UC Davis Botanical Conservatory. Known as “The Plant Lady ” and a garden contributor on local TV and her Podcast Flower Power Garden Hour. Topic will be Water-Wise Mediterranean Gardening.
There will be hourly drawings for garden items donated by the nurseries and artisans. Tool sharpening will be available, used gardening books and magazines for sale as well. Come shop for unusual plants and garden treasures. Free and Open to the Public.
