This year the exciting Sacramento Black Expo will be held in the Park for everyone to enjoy the Expo outdoors. There will exciting entertainment on the I Street Stage with Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Hip hop, dance teams, marching bands and more. Plus we will have the Youth Talent Competition, the BBQ Cook-Off; The Rejoice Gospel Music Awards, the Career Farie, the Workshops Tent, The Health Awareness Tent, the Soul Food Court and two days of family fun. As always, Black Expo is free and open to the public. To become an exhibitor please call 916 477-0157 today.

β¨ Knitting for Kids Class β¨
This beginner`s class made specially for kids is perfect for the budding yarn enthusiast in your life, and we have two opportunities to attend in July!
Tuesday July 9 and Thursday July 11, 10:00-11:30am
or
Tuesday July 23 and Thursday July 25, 10:00-11:30am
For children ages 10 and up, this 2-session class will teach the basics of knitting: how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off.
Students will make a fun multicolored ball in class, and materials are included in class fee. This class is taught by Janie, a retired Waldorf teacher.
