Description
African Roots, organized by Shonna McDaniels, is inspired by the works of ceramist
Akinsanya Kambon, whoβs exhibition American Expressions/African Roots is on view
at the Crocker (February 2 – July 5, 2020). His art honors the legacy of the Buffalo
Soldiers and African deities, and this exhibition will showcase works that open minds
and change lives through the exploration and celebration of African American history.
