What makes a mom happy on Mothers’ Day? It’s happy kids! Besides loads of strawberries, different types of food and treats, the BerryFest is packed with fun not just for the ‘kids.’ There’s an extreme skate pro park, second line parade, paint-a-rock project, princess pageant, strawberry shortcake eating contest, amazing animal world exhibit, scout-o-rama demonstrations, a strawberry selfie village, a model railroad exhibit, a strawberry pancake breakfast hosted by the Boy Scouts, a live graffiti wall, a classic car show, two arts and crafts villages, a kids’ carnival, a moms’ retreat area, a race car show, a petting zoo and pony rides. There will also be non-stop performances on the Blueberry Caboose stage, the Mulberry Community stage, the Strawberry Beer stage and cooking demonstrations will held on the Cranberry Cooking stage. Make sure and grab a fresh baked strawberry pie on your way out. They are delicious!
