Sacramento City College is offering a course that combines your interests in science and coffee. The course uses scientific principles to study how to make the best cup of coffee. For example, we study water temperature, grind size, steeping time, type of roast, and method of coffee preparation (different types of pour-over methods). We will also have two different types of green coffee beans to roast. Have fun and learn about making coffee!
