Sacramento’s 19th Annual Juneteenth Festival Kick-off event. “Gospel Under the Stars Concert”.
Friday night, June 17th in William Land Park Amphitheater from 6 -9 pm.
“The Friday night “Gospel Under the Stars” features some of Sacramento’s best gospel artists. In an evening setting “Under the Stars” in the Amphitheater near the pond of William Land park, A high powered gospel concert take place. The free concert is a two hour affair. The concert featured many of Sacramento’s local church choirs. 2017’s special guest were the Children’s Orphans Choir Of Uganda. Past participants include, Ascension, Ryan Oliver and many more.
We’ll also host a healing Ceremony and speak to the Trauma associated with Violence. Our partners Sierra Health Foundation, I Sound and others will address the crowd. Followed by the festival on Saturday, 18th which will include; live music,vendors, vaccinations, live art , virtual golf trailer, kids activities and much more.
