Do you have a basic yoga practice and want to learn the fundamentals of inversions? Have you ever wanted to get upside down but been too afraid to try? Have you wondered if inversions are just fancy tricks or if they have a place in a fully integrated yoga practice? This workshop is for you if you want to see the world from a different perspective, safely and confidently, and learn the steps to approaching inversions.
Using the wall, props and direct assistance, we will approach headstand, handstand, crow and forearm stand. Taking time for questions, answers, and demonstrations, you will safely learn how to build the strength, confidence and focus necessary to practice inversions. You will learn how this family of postures allows a deeper exploration of your practice and adds a sense of play, lightness, and fun no matter your experience.
