Don’t miss this fantastic night of roots songwriting with Proxy Moon and According to Bazooka. Both groups are nominated for Sacramento Music Awards in the 2019 SAMMIES. It will be a night of vintage vibes and well-crafted original tunes at Sacramento’s beloved classic venue Fox & Goose. Proxy Moon’s music is rooted in folk, jazz, blues, country — fundamentally American music with an emphasis on original songs featuring strong, interesting lyrics and melodies delivered with spirited musicianship. They’ve been described by turns as esoteric, poetic, and irreverent, with a bit of a burlesque thrown for good measure. According to Bazooka’s catchy songwriting has a retro-pop sound and California flavor. These inviting tunes carry listeners on a playful journey of the twist and turns of everyday humanity. It’s a charismatic show of well-crafted melodies that draw from rock and roll, blues, country, zydeco and more.
