We’re kicking off 2020 with a bang! Join us for our first concert of the new year as Tchaikovsky’s rousing 1812 Overture booms throughout Memorial Auditorium. In addition to Gershwin’s Second Rhapsody and Copland’s Rodeo, you won’t want to miss the newly premiered commission, Transcend, by living Grammy-nominated composer Zhou Tian, celebrating a Sacramento milestone: the 150th anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad.

Innovative conductor Christopher Rountree and acclaimed pianist Orion Weiss, both making their SP&O debuts, take the stage alongside the orchestra to take you on a journey back in time to celebrate the musical art inspired by some of history’s most powerful moments.

Tickets are selling quickly, so don’t wait. Get yours today!

It's a beautiful 15-minute drive from downtown Sacramento to our favorite destination in the California Delta. The Old Sugar Mill really is a perfect place to get hitched. ❤️❤️
