Description
The Sojourner Truth African Heritage Museum would like to invite you to the grand opening of its new expanded space.
Its new museum space will take visitors on a journey through the richness and diversity of African American culture and the history of a people whose struggles, aspirations, and achievements have shaped the nation. They will showcase the stories of over 100 historical Black leaders and events.
But most importantly, the Museum is training community youth to be docents and share these stories. Freedom is attached to an identity of self. Therefore, it welcomes all visitors who seek to understand, remember, and celebrate this history to join them.
