Description
Ever wondered how to take your pottery throwing skills to the next level? Then this TEAPOT THROWING class is for you! Over the course of three weeks, instructor Terrance Watson will guide you through each stage of the teapot making process, from the vessel, to the spout and handle. With consideration of the assembly of a teapot, students will explore a variety of shapes, lid systems, spouts, and handle styles, learning about functionality as well as form.
There will be plenty of guidance and demonstrations to help you improve your making skills. By the end of this course, each participant will have explored the stages of designing & making a teapot, and ultimately, create a teapot of their own!
Experience throwing on the wheel is highly recommended.
