Based out of Sacramento, The Bad Barnacles blend the psychedelic with the sultry. The band harken back to a groovier time of 50s-60s rock and surf-pop.
At times haunting, the band blends catchy rhythms with dark lyrics, ranging from musings on death and heartbreak to lustful longings. Both danceable and melodious, the songs combine the simplicity of pop with a swampy croon.
