Description
The University Union’s UNIQUE Programs and The WELL at Sac State will be hosting Yoga Night on Thursday, March 14, 2024. The special event will be held in the University Union Ballroom at 7:30pm. The night will feature a 60 minute session of free yoga and relaxation. The first half hour will be an introduction of yoga for beginners. Immediately following will be yoga appropriate for all fitness levels. The event will help develop inner and outer strength, increase stamina and flexibility and help you get centered through a blend of different yoga traditions. This class links body, breath and mind with focus on alignment.
At 8:45 pm, immediately after Yoga Night, the University Union will host a sound bath with Surya Sound Bath. A sound bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening, meditative experience where guests are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced with intention by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, and even the human voice itself to invite gently yet powerful healing and restoration to nurture your heart, mind, and body.
Yoga mats and floor blankets are available, while supplies last.
