Facebook: The Knockoffs, Mob Rule
The Knockoffs started in the early 90’s as the brainchild of Tim White and Tom H. After various member changes, a solidified line-up of Tom H. on guitar, Tim White on bass, and Tom Amberson on drums was set for a few years. This line-up released a handfull of 7″ singles and were featured on various compilations. Amberson was replaced by former Groovie Ghoulies drummer Wendy Powell. Powell and White left the band. Amberson returned to drums and Danny Reynoso came in on bass for a brief period of time until Bobby Jordan assumed full-time bass duties and Reynoso moved to guitar. This line-up was the longest lasting line-up of the band. This line-up released two full-length CDs and a full-length concert DVD capturing the band’s performance for their 10 Year Anniversary. The Knockoffs won various local music awards and were inducted into the Sacramento Music Hall of Fame.
