Description
Our third event of the year, the 6th MiniFest (the one-day version of our main Festival) is coming up on Sunday, October 27, for a full day packed with four of the best French films of the year, presented on the giant screen of the Esquire IMAX Theatre.
The program will start with the historical comedy CYRANO, MY LOVE (Edmond), a crowd-pleasing tale of how Edmond Rostand’s famous play Cyrano de Bergerac came to life! It will be followed by Cédric Klapisch’s singular Parisian romance, SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE (Deux Moi); SINK OR SWIM (Le Grand Bain), a hilarious all-star comedy about a male synchronized swimming team; and by BY THE GRACE OF GOD (Grâce à Dieu), Francois Ozon’s dramatization of a current real-life sexual abuse scandal in the French Catholic Church. It won the Silver Bear Award at the 2019 Berlin International Film Festival.
Cyrano, My Love and By the Grace of God will be followed by Q&A with Le Professeur Kevin Elstob.
