Description
Clay Labs are open to the public every Saturday morning from 10am-1pm, all ages and skills are welcomed but kids under the age of fourteen are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Space will be limited due to new COVID-19 protocols. We ask that everyone wear a mask and respect new social distancing guidelines. We will also be offering some outdoor workspaces. Thank you for your patience with us as we adjust and figure out new ways to safely gather together.
During the clay lab you may use up to 8 lbs of clay, any clay tools, glazes, our slab roller and wheels, you may fire one item up to 12in in any direction per lab session. We provide brief demos for people who are new to clay but this time is not structured as a class and we will not be teaching how to make any particular item. Verge Center for the Arts does offer ceramic classes, please check or class schedule for more information.
