Discover Blacksmithing at Sutter’s Fort!
Join us on Saturday, September 21, from 10 AM to 4 PM for Demonstration Day at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park. Explore the art of blacksmithing with expert guest smiths from Hippocampus Forge, the California Blacksmith Association, and Folsom Forge. See firsthand how this essential 1840s trade continues to influence modern craftsmanship. Volunteers will also showcase other historic trades throughout the day.
