Description
The International Kids Festival is one of the largest annual free family outdoor events in the Greater Sacramento region. It brings together thousands of multicultural families from 2004. The Festival is organized by Council For Cross Cultural Affairs, in support with Community Outreach Academy, Russian American Media, Slavic Community Center of Sacramento and Slavic-American Chamber of Commerce. The Festival promotes cultural awareness and artistic self-expression by allowing children to share their creative talents on a professional stage.

This beginner`s class made specially for kids is perfect for the budding yarn enthusiast in your life, and we have two opportunities to attend in July!
Tuesday July 9 and Thursday July 11, 10:00-11:30am
or
Tuesday July 23 and Thursday July 25, 10:00-11:30am
For children ages 10 and up, this 2-session class will teach the basics of knitting: how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off.
Students will make a fun multicolored ball in class, and materials are included in class fee. This class is taught by Janie, a retired Waldorf teacher.
