Sacramento PremiereConflict photographer Mia wakes up in the Istanbul apartment of her on-again, off-again girlfriend after being found unconscious at the scene of a massacre she was photographing. Mia can’t even remember being there, but she wired photos of the site hours before she was found. The two women resume their volatile push-pull when Mia’s well-meaning Californian mother arrives from the US, trying to help unravel what happened to her daughter.
“Thought-provoking, challenging and complex. Those attributes alone make Unseen worth seeing, but it’s all that and more.” –ASHLAND NEWS

Dauood Naimyar – LIVE COMEDY @ Laughs Unlimited
Posted to Art & Culture, Music & Nightlife, Special Interests May 9th, 2025
Dauood Naimyar recently taped a Comedy Central stand-up set in February and can next be seen in Comedy Central’s TALES FROM THE TRIP. Last year, Dauood was just a New Face at Just For Laughs 2022. Dauood’s comedic perspective is shaped by the duality of his constant need to fit in, and his relentless desire to be different.
His search for being relatable, yet controversial has brought audiences joy for nine years- and will probably continue until he finally figures out who he is. We hope he doesn’t, ‘cause bills need to be paid. Dauood also has over 150K followers on TikTok and keeps building a large audience.
