Description
Ghost Town Rebellion will be performing as part of UNIQUE Programs’ Wednesday Nooner series. Nooners are always free and are hosted every Wednesday during the academic semester at 12 pm, featuring local artists and entertainment, in the University Union. Ghost Town Rebellion will be performing on Wednesday, September 18th. This event takes place at 12 pm in the University Union’s Redwood Room. There will also be free popcorn to anyone who attends.
Ghost Town Rebellion is an Outlaw American Rock band. They are also a local Sacramento originated group. Their lead vocalist, Shawn Peter, has been a part of other bands before, such as A Single Second, The Lonely Kings, and Fudi. He is a first-generation German-American, and grew up in a dairy community near the north east side of Sacramento. He also plays the guitar, banjo, and trumpet.
The other artists are Mike Shively, another vocalist and guitarist. As well, the band has Steven Martin, who is the percussionist. Jacob Crain plays bass, while Sarah Volkof is the bands vocalist keys.
Steve Martin, the bands percussionist, was a Professional Studio & Touring Drummer from very early on in his life, and is another main leader to the group. He has performed throughout more than 19 albums, and has been at venues like Whisky A Go Go, Sunset Strip Music Festival, Key Club, Ace of Spades, and ARC Theatre. He has also opened for big name artists such as Marilyn Manson, The Offspring, Black Label Society, Bad Religion, and Steve Aoki.
