Taking place on surfboards in Santa Cruz, WIPEOUT is a septuagenarian surf comedy about what it takes to hang ten. For her seventy-seventh birthday, Margaret decides to go surfing. She’s never tried it before and her friends Wynn and Claudia are a bit unsure of this new hobby. But with the help of a teenage surf instructor, Margaret’s ready to conquer the unknown.

The historic Heilbron House on the corner of 8th and O was built in 1881 for $10,000 in a Victorian Italianate style designed by renowned Sacramento architect, Nathaniel Goodell. Initially home to a cattle rancher and merchant from Germany, it now serves as an office for the California Department of Parks and Rec. The landmark mansion backs up to the California Natural Resources Headquarters which was finished in 2021. It`s a striking juxtaposition and well worth a look. Go check it out in downtown Sacramento.
