    Dinner on the Verge
    Saturday, May 17
    6-9 PM

Save the date Saturday, May 17th for Dinner on the Verge!

We are pleased to invite you to our signature fundraising event that will transform our gallery space into an immersive celebration of contemporary art, creativity and community.

This year, we will revamp this event into an opportunity to honor an artist that embodies our mission of broadening Sacramento’s contemporary art horizons. This artist has defined what it means to thrive in the Sacramento art scene, and was in fact the very person to give Verge its name at its inception — Gale Hart.

Gale’s work explores potent societal themes, reflecting on the contradictions and inequities of modern life with a curiosity and humor that sometimes border on the absurd. A self-taught artist, she works across various mediums, including hand-drawn books, monumental paintings on canvas, and highly polished sculptures in stainless steel, aluminum, cast concrete and bronze. Gale is meticulous about producing masterfully crafted finished work, as many of you have seen time and again in the numerous exhibitions and public art projects she has been a part of. Please join us in reveling in her incredible career and undeniable influence at this year’s Dinner on the Verge!

Dinner on the Verge raises over $90,000 annually to fund Verge’s critical creative resources, engaging exhibitions, and art education opportunities benefiting over 50,000 artists and patrons every year. Secure your tickets, support our mission, and let’s celebrate!

DINNER ON THE VERGE: Saturday, May 17th | 6-9pm
