Annual Maifest @ Sacramento Turn Verein

Join us at the Maifest on Sunday, May 18th! This family-friendly event celebrates the spring and is celebrated traditionally in Germany.
We will be serving delicious German food and drinks, including Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee and cake) and specialties like Spätzle (cheese dumplings), beer, and Spaghetti Ice Cream. Watch a special performance by the Alpentänzer Schuhplattler (German Dance Troupe) who will perform traditional dances around the Maypole, accompanied by a live band. In the afternoon, there will also be free organized games and crafts for the kids, and face-painting.
Admission is free for children (0-12 years).
Proceeds from the event support the STV-German Language School, and promotes the German language, literature and culture.

The Sacramento Children’s Home is excited to announce a brand-new event, our first ever Spring Garden Party and Brunch on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at Vizcaya located in the heart of Sacramento!
Join us for a spring-themed Sunday Funday in support of the important work of the Sacramento Children’s Home and our family of programs. We’ll have an exciting array of live auction items.
This not-to-miss event will be a fun and festive day complete with a full assortment of brunch favorites, hosted brunch cocktails and a vibrant ambiance. Don your favorite spring attire and join us for what is sure to be one of the best events of the year!
Tickets are $100 or $180 for two tickets.

Monday – FridayThe Ethel MacLeod Hart Senior Center is the heart of operations for the City of Sacramento Older Adult Services division. In addition to providing a wide array of services, the center is a gathering for people who come together to stretch their horizons, have fun, learn new things, make friends, and discover the joys of life in a holistic manner. The Hart Senior Center offers enrichment classes, fitness activities, services and opportunities to socialize – all to optimize the aging experience.
Membership is NOT a requirement before participating or registering for any of our classes for activities.

Founded on the idea that everyone should have access to dance, MIDC proudly fosters a fun dance environment where everyone is welcomed with open arms — all body types, ethnicities, genders, socioeconomic statuses, and experience levels.
Come join us for our 10th annual showcase, Lead the Way, featuring the recreational and competitive dancers of Mirror Image Dance Company! Dancers have been working all year on their skills and choreography and they are so excited to share their hard work with everyone.
