    Our Company Story
    Don Little and his son Gary began their father and son partnership in 1968 and incorporated it in 1974. While their real estate investment projects included properties in Maui, Hawaii and southern Oregon, they remained close to their roots and built a real estate business based in Sacramento.

    Throughout the 1970’s and into the mid 1990’s Little Investment Company, Inc. operated first as Valley Land Agents and later as Discovery Investments. Since 1995, Gary Little has run the brokerage as a sole proprietor but recently brought a third generation Little into the business — his son Chris. In 2006 the company was renamed Little Real Estate Services to more accurately reflect their commitment to the clients they serve.

    Gary’s commitment to Sacramento region extends well beyond his real estate business. Gary focuses his energies on the quality and vitality of the community that has been so good to him and his family. He serves as the vice president of the East Sacramento Chamber of Commerce; involved with the Pops In the Park running the annual silent auction which benefits local parks; is a member of the 65th Street RAC (redevelopment advisory committee); and active with the UCDavis Medical Center as member of the Leadership Council and active with the cancer support network as a cancer survivor himself.

    The Elliott Building

    The Elliott Building, completed in 2003, involved converting a dilapidated 1922 automotive showroom and service center into an innovative mixed-use building. The ground floor now houses two award-winning restaurants, PF Chang’s China Bistro and Mikuni Japanese Restaurant, while the second floor houses office space for two prestigious firms. The two top floors contain 18 unique live/work lofts, averaging in size around 1,000 square feet.

    O1 Lofts

    O1 Lofts, completed in 2005, was developed on the heels of the enormous success of The Elliott Building which demonstrated Sacramento’s desire for urban loft living. The building’s second floor houses the offices of o1 Communications. The third and fourth floors boast 14 live/work lofts that average about 625 square feet in size.
