Classic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors & outdoor seating draw a unique mix of people, local and international alike, to this neighborhood standby.

Kasbah is an oasis filled with rich fabrics and pillows, a hand made brass bar, warm, subtle lighting, and fine Middle Eastern music. A belly dancer or tribal troupe punctuate the ambience nightly.

We have chosen a menu of small plates because it lends itself to sharing and socializing at any hour. Whether grazing while drinking or sitting down for a meal, we feature many of the spices and flavors of North Africa and the Middle East. Some are traditional, some are creative – all are tasty and soulful, including a variety of homemade dessert specials.

We serve top shelf cocktails and offer a unique selection of interesting sipping spirits, and a selection of over 500 fine wines from around the world. Our Turkish Coffee and Mint Tea are the best in Sacramento. We also offer several other top-notch teas, all served in fine ceramics, pottery and glassware. Hookah pipes are available on the patio.

FACES, Sacramento’s premier GLBTI Nightclub since 1985 is always growing to meet the ever changing tastes and needs of the Sacramento community.

Started as a club for Gay Men in the mid-1980s, FACES has continued to expand its focus to include EVERYONE in the local party scene. With the additions of Club 21 and Bo Jangles Dance Club to the family in recent years, and the new Headhunters’ Video Bar and Grille opening late August of 2003, the FACES family of GLBTI venues has something to offer for everyone.

Faces Inc. Growing Night Club Community

The company’s motto has always been “Everyone is Welcome”. Club 21 features a women’s focus on weekends, providing a much needed social outlet for Sacramento’s Lesbian population. Bo Jangles Dance Club (of Folsom Boulevard fame), Sacramento’s 18 and over GLBTI club, relocated to downtown Sacramento last year, operating on its traditional Wednesday night now inside Club 21 – conveniently located a block away from FACES on 21st Street between K & L. The new Headhunters’ Video Lounge and Grille will cater to an upscale “After 5” Happy Hour market, including traditional American cuisine at reasonable prices, and a focus on Gay Male clientele in a Leather/Levi motif in the evenings. And of course FACES itself welcomes everyone in the rainbow & Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Transsexual, Intersex and friendly Straight folks 21 and over are all welcome to come join the party!
